Our Board of Directors recognizes that it bears the ultimate responsibility of risk management. That is why a Risk Committee was established to enable the Board to regularly monitor the risks facing the Group and ensure that action plans are implemented to offset, mitigate and hedge these risks.
Furthermore, the Risk Management Group, led by the Chief Risk Officer, assists the Committee in discharging its risk management duties. Working jointly, they set a risk management framework that allows them to take calculated risks within an optimal risk-return ratio and promote a risk sensitive culture within the group.
